SAFETY

KENNY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY is the only construction firm to win the National Safety Council's GREEN CROSS for SAFETY.

According to the National Safety Council, the award honored Kenny Construction Company's commitment to building a culture that recognizes worker safety and health as a core value. Kenny has put in place safety policies and practices that can serve as a model for the industry.

To become a recognized leader in both performance and innovation a successful contractor must have "zero tolerance" for unsafe practices.

Over the past decade, Kenny Construction Company has successfully redesigned its safety effort to create a culture, responsive to the immediate needs of its customers, employees, and shareholders. We continue to establish new benchmarks for safety because Kenny believes that working without incident is achievable.

Daniel Zarletti, Vice President of Kenny Construction Company Safety, confirmed these remarks at the American Road & Transportation Builders Association's (ARTBA) 2007 safety and health conference, held in Florida. Kenny was honored by both ARTBA and CNA Insurance as "Contractor of the Year for Safety" for safely self-performing over 1 million man-hours of work.

President John E. Kenny Jr., said "Today's competitive contractors understand that an effective safety program goes far beyond reactive strategies for liability containment and regulatory compliance. Rather, best safety practices that are driven from the top, and integrated across all business units present opportunities for shared benefits, including quality control, job efficiencies, cost savings, and enhanced relationships with both customers and the public."

When it comes to choosing a contractor, make the SAFE choice.
