Tunnel Construction Begins
Last week Kenny Construction started the excavation of one of the two deep shafts required for the construction of the 12-foot tunnel that will house two 60-inch force mains, which will replace the existing 60-inch Edison Force Main upon completion.
It is anticipated that the two 60-inch force mains and upgrades to the Edison Pump Station and Central Treatment Plant will be completed in the second quarter of 2010.
