EDUCATION

To stay competitive in the global marketplace, America must invest as much in its educational infrastructure as it does in rebuilding its aging roads, bridges and sewers.  Nationwide, thousands of schools built in the 1950s and 1960s are in need of reconstruction or replacement.

The recent housing boom has increased demand for new schools suggesting that state and local governments will need to substantially invest in school construction throughout the next 20 years.  This assumption is based on the latest annual forecast of the American Institute of Architects. In the short term, AIA and McGraw-Hill Construction both agree that spending on educational facilities will rise significantly in 2008.

KENNY, is prepared to build or fill the construction manager role for any of these innovative projects.  In recent years Kenny has built and expanded classrooms, libraries, and gymnasiums, as well as high school performance arts spaces. And today, as we grow, we expect to take on much more of this important work as the education market comes to the fore.
