This Tarp Project consisted of constructing 34,151 feet of 27 foot diameter TBM mined, 25 feet inside diameter lined tunnel and 8,184 feet of 17 foot diameter TBM mined, 15 feet inside diameter lined tunnel, jacked pipe for 400 feet of 96 inch diameter RCP; one 25 feet inside diameter lined construction shaft approximately 305 feet deep; one 31 foot inside diameter lined gate shaft approximately 305 feet deep, with wheel gate and hoist equipment; eight lined drop shafts and one lined access shaft with inside diameters varying from 4 feet to 25 feet and depths varying from 255 to 290 feet; one 25 foot inside diameter lined live tunnel connection; one 25 foot inside diameter lined tunnel stub for a future tunnel connection; lined sewer connections to two existing pump stations; at one or more sites, excavation and disposal of regulated waste and water; two sluice gate structures of various dimensions, with sluice gates and operators, at various depths and at various locations; electrical, mechanical; computer work at the sites; connecting structures, junction chambers and drop manhole structures of various dimensions; approximately 1,470 feet of various sizes of connecting sewer and entrance conduit varying from 1 foot to 11feet 9 inches internal dimension of various lengths and depths.
Mining accomplished on the 27 foot TBM included a best day of 305 feet, best five day week of 1,317 feet, and a best month of 5,038 feet. Concrete production sustained a 228 foot per day cycle with over 820 cubic yards poured per day out of the onsite batch plant.
