Kenny Construction Company's Power group has been the program manager responsible for the installation of major transmission lines, substations and distribution lines in combined project work in Central Wisconsin, Wasatch Valley Utah, and the Eastern United States. The Group has built indoor GIS and AIS substations for a Commonwealth Edison in Chicago to support the ten year ComEd Optimization Program for Chicago. The program management scope includes project controls, design, procurement, permitting, commissioning and outage planning. Kenny customizes its approach to a program management opportunity according to the needs of the Customer.
Kenny has built teams of contractors and professional service firms to support the specific needs of each engagement and has leveraged its experience and resources to benefit a wide variety of owners and their customers.
Kenny Construction Company currently ranks 2nd on the ENR list of transmission and distribution contractors.
The group is led by Vice President Michael Stoecker and Executive Manager Karl Miller, P.E..
