MUSEUM PARK TOWER IV
Museum Park Tower IV is a 608,000 square foot 37-story, cast in place, residential condominium tower located in Chicago's South Loop. Tower IV consists of 286 one and two bedroom luxury condominium units, above and below ground parking, recreation room, exercise room and an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a landscaped roof deck.
The project involved rock and belled caissons for the foundation system with a steel sheeting earth retention system required around the elevator pit and stairwells. The concrete cycle attained for this project once construction was at the typical residential floors was three days. The exterior facade consists of floor-to-ceiling glass accentuated by strong vertical columns.
The lobby of Tower IV will be the interior focal point of the building, it will include stone walls and stone flooring imported from Israel, zebra wood walls, and a metallic ceiling with handing clouds from which Artichoke Chandeliers will be hung from.
Kenny Construction committed to the Owner to turn over more than one hundred and twenty condominium units during the first month. On May 15, 2006, occupancy of the first seventeen floors of the building began, approximately two months ahead of the contractual schedule.
